Gospel: Luke 16: 9- 15 "Whoever can be trusted in the little things can be trusted in great ones." Luke 16: 10 In today's Gospel, Jesus teaches us the value of things regardless of their price. What we do in small things reveals about what we will do with much and reveals the truth about our authenticity as His disciple. Like what Mother Teresa said "Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love." This attitude can help us to put love in everything that we do especially with things that God entrusts us. Lord keep my heart pure in any matter big or small. Amen #PrayVD

Gospel : John 2: 13- 22 "Zeal of your house devours me like fire" John 2: 17 Today's Gospel shows how people had false zeal by making the temple of God a market place. Sometimes we are zealous of wrong things making money as the center of our lives, being too obsessed with worldly possessions and by that it makes our heart corrupted. Are we zealous with things that corrupts the temple of God? Jesus invites us to take care with great zeal our body - the temple of God. Our bodies are sacred and our hearts should be holy, we should be mindful of things that we do in our body. #PrayVD

Gospel: Luke 15: 1- 10 " Rejoice with me! I have found you." Luke 15:6 We spend most of our lives in search for something. It might be something concrete as our cellphones, pens, eyeglasses or something intangible such us courage, peace, love or knowledge. Being in search is a sign for our desire for the fullness of life. And it is a search for someone not for something. He is the One who alone can fullfil something that we humans can't fill. It is our search for God that begins from His search for us. In today's Gospel, God reminds us how important we are for Him that He would leave His 99 sheep just to search for us and to make us feel loved. The society may treat us as a nobody but never for God for in His eyes we are special, precious and of supreme value. Do you allow yourself to be found? #PrayVD

Gospel: Luke 14: 25 - 33 "Whoever does not carry his own cross and come after me cannot be my disciple." Luke 14: 27 In todays Gospel, Jesus is asking for a love that is exclusive and has God as our priority. No love should interfere with the love that we owe to Him. We must prefer Him above anything and anyone else in our lives. We cannot love and follow Him without making Him our only priority, without accepting our cross and sufferings, and not willing to give up our worldly possessions, sacrificing our convenience by getting out of our comfort zone. Jesus invites us today to carry our own cross and be His true disciples by making Him as our only priority. Mother Mary help us to surrender everything and give us the strength as we carry our cross and follow Jesus. Amen #PrayVD

Gospel : Luke 14: 15- 24 "Happy are those who eat at the banquet in the kingdom of God" - Luke 14:15 The parable talks about the people who refused to listen to his invitation for they did not acknowledge the need of his banquet. Do you acknowledge the need to dine with Jesus? In today's Gospel, Jesus invites us to His house to eat and to dine with Him. His invitation is free and He prepared everything. He offers salvation and pay for what it costs, all we have to do is to come and receive it freely. No matter how great our sins are, He invites us and prepares everything to join him in His kingdom. Help us Mother Mary to personally respond to the invitation of Jesus to join in His kingdom. Amen. #PrayVD

Gospel: Luke 14: 12-14 "You will be blessed because they cannot repay you" Luke 14: 14 In today's Gospel, Jesus asks us to help and invite people who do not have any means to repay our good deeds or kindness especially the poor and the unknown. This invitation for us is something that is hard to do because it is a normal custom for us, the feeling of wanting others to repay us for what we have done for them, We long for the same treatment. Jesus invites us today to give without counting the cost, to do something for others without asking anything in return and to seek not for any material and wordly rewards but for eternal reward. #PrayVD

Gospel: Mark 12:28-34 Your life is for LOVE! Which commandment is the first of all? To love God and Neighbor is inseparable. He himself has shown us love not just the love we are comfortable to show but the depth of love he has for mankind which led him to the cross. Will you follow his step? We can make our choice to start today or renew committment. Get yourself actively involved in the missions, your “neighbor” is waiting for you. When you begin your day , pray and ask God how you may give love today . #PrayVD |
