"I will make you a light to the nations."WEEK 1 (Jan 6 – 12, 2020) General Theme:
Missionaries for all peoples. General Objective: To enter in Jesus' spirit of openness and dialogue with all peoples and learn from him to be missionaries of communion for the world of today. Specific Objective: To learn from Jesus’ concrete attitudes in order to build bridges of peace rather than walls of division with our brothers and sisters, especially those whom we find different. Imitate me as I imitate Christ(cf. 1 Cor.11:1) December 23-29, 2019 General Theme: INCARNATION (The Love of God made Flesh)
General Objective: To believe in Love made flesh, letting it be made flesh in us by living Christ’s life of poverty, chastity and obedience Objective of the week: To fully understand our responsibility as disciples of Christ in this generation that is full of slaveries. We are called to be imitators of Christ and bearers of the key to freedom of those who are entangled in the sinfulness and lies of this world. He comes to open a new way for all peopleDecember 9-15, 2019 General Theme:
The love of God made flesh General Objective: To believe in love made flesh, letting it be made flesh in us by living Christ’s life of poverty, chastity, and obedience. Specific Objective: To discover why Jesus Christ the Son of God became a human being and showed the way of salvation to all people. "The Son of God became human for us and for our salvation."WEEK 1 Dec 2-8, 2019 INCARNATION
(THE LOVE OF GOD MADE FLESH) General Objective: To believe in Love made flesh, letting it be made flesh in us by living Christ’s life of poverty, chastity and obedience. Objective: To rediscover the essence of God’s love to all His creation and to enter into the core of His desires to save all humanity by giving His whole life becoming human and giving us the way to our salvation through Jesus Christ. What return can I make to God for all his goodness to me?(Ps 116:12-19) Week IV Nov 25- Dec 1, 2019 Objective of the week:
That we be merciful as the Father is merciful. May this awaken in us the need to reciprocate that love as a gratitude in leading others to that same experience. How can I give you up?(Hos 11:8) Week III Nov 18-24, 2019 General Theme: God’s Merciful Love
General Objective: To experience the joy of God’s unfailing love and forgiveness that impels the person to desire to live and start anew, with the heart filled also with mercy for others. Objective of the week: To discover the joy of God at the conversion of the child as one comes back to him. The Lord is Compassionate and Merciful(cf. Sir 2:11) Week II Nov 11-17 General Theme: God’s Merciful Love
General Objective: To experience the joy of God’s unfailing love and forgiveness that impels the person to desire to live and start anew, with the heart filled also with mercy for others. Objective of the week: To lead us more to experience that compassionate and merciful love of God, capable of doing everything for us in spite of our sinfulness. Your Sins are forgiven!(cf. Lk. 7:48) November 4-10, 2019 General Theme: God’s Merciful Love
General Objective: To experience the joy of God’s unfailing love and forgiveness that impels the person to desire to live and start anew, with the heart filled also with mercy for others. Objective of the week: To enter into the experience of being loved and forgiven by Him, despite one’s sins and failures and to take a step towards God. Create in me a pure heart, O God(Ps.51:10) WEEK 5 (Oct 28 - Nov 3) General Theme:
Breaking of Love: Sin and its Consequences General Objective: To discover that sin is a breakdown of love of self, of others and ultimately a ‘no’ to God’s Life and Love, to the one who loves us most in life, and has given all to us. Sin has serious consequences in us, in others and in the Body of Christ. That seeing Christ crucified may provoke our conversion to Love, a change of heart. Objective : To recognize one’s sins, ask for forgiveness and change ways of life. You did it for me.(Mt. 25:40) WEEK 4 (Oct 21-27, 2019) General Theme:
