Gospel: Jn 15: 26- 16:4a “You have been with Me from the beginning” Jesus said “ the hour is coming when everyone who kills you will think he is offering worship to God”. We are experiencing this in our world today. It seems that things which are previously bad are normal nowadays like littering, stealing, or any other sinful deed. We who are with God are encouraged to bring back what is right through living the word in our lives and be the disciple to bring change to the world. Holy Spirit, may you guide us always in spreading the truth to the world #PrayVD

Gospel: John 14:23-29 “My peace I give to you.” – John 14:27 Despite so many people claiming that they can bring peace to our country or our world, many people are still in hunger and thirst for a genuine peace. It is only in Jesus that we can find the peace that we need – peace that comes from his unconditional love. The kind of peace that he gives us is both a blessing and responsibility – it is grace and a mission. To receive his peace means to nourish our lives and to share this peace to others. For the ones who love Him and obeys Him can receive and give his peace. #PrayVD

Gospel: John 15:18-21 “I have chosen you from the world.” – John 15:19 In a world where people values materialism, Jesus invites us to value the thoughts that matters. In a world where people are so competitive that they must go up from each other, Jesus invites us to be humble and stretch a helping hand to others. Jesus in today’s Gospel is inviting us to be different, to go against the current, against the ways of the world. Though the world may hate us because of being different from it and because of Him, Jesus assures us that He would help and guide us. #PrayVD

Gospel: John 15:12-17 “Love one another as I have loved you.” – John 15:12. God teaches us to love others as he loves us. He loves all the people disregarding their attainment, status, profession or whatever others think of them – God loves without exemption. Let us learn to love as he loved, not looking for reasons to love others but just to love without asking for anything in return. Love requires sacrifices and patience. Let us love without conditions, without limitations. What Jesus tells us in today’s Gospel is not just an option but a call for total obedience. #PrayVD

Gospel: John 15:9-11 “Remain in my love.” – John 15:9 Sometimes it is easy for us to remain with people who entertain us when we are lonely and it is also easy to remain in our ways – our comfort zone. And sometimes we do not have the perseverance to remain in Jesus, to remain in His love. When we couldn’t have an immediate answer to our prayers and when we can't understand His will, it becomes hard for us to remain in Him. Today, Jesus invites us to remain only in His love that conquers even death. Let us ask ourselves today could we remain in His love? #PrayVD

Gospel: John 15:1-8 “Whoever remains in me and I in him will bear much fruit.” – John 15:5 We are called to live a fruitful life and Jesus in today’s Gospel talks about fruitfulness desiring that we bear much fruit. We need to be connected to the source and in remaining in Him we bear much fruit that glorifies the Father and making us his true disciples. Let us ask the Lord for patience and perseverance to remain in us, humbly accepting that without Him we can do nothing. #PrayVD

Jesus gives us His peace to enable us to overcome the things that's s been troubling and making us afraid. #PrayVD

Gospel: John 14:21-26 “Whoever keeps my commandments is the one who loves me.” – John 14:21 Love is the greatest gift on the face of this earth. Jesus tells us that whoever observes His commandments is the one who loves Him. And all who love Jesus will be loved by Him and His Father – love that is unconditional. What more could we ask for? Unconditional is a great gift to give and to receive and truly, there is no greater love! Today we pray that we may strive to imitate the unconditional love of God by keeping his commandments. #PrayVD

2nd Reading: Rev 21:1-5a “See, I make all things new!” Rev21:5 What does it mean to be Easter People? At Easter we are forgiven, healed and renewed by Jesus. And the grace of eternal life -- this life which compels us to a fresh start is given to us. And we are called to share the Good News. Our response can and should be rooted in love. Holy Trinity and Mama Mary teach us to love and grow in love all the days of our lives. Amen. #PrayVD

Gospel: John14:7-14 “Whoever sees me, sees the Father” John14:9 “Lord, show us the Father, and that is enough.” Jesus said to Philip, “What! I have been with you so long and you still do not know me?” How is your prayer life? The Word of God is alive and effective! Go and reach for the bible. Stop asking and waiting for signs. The answer is before you, go on your knees. He has the answer. He is waiting for you. Praying that each day we choose to be the hand and feet of God that they too may see and encounter him. Amen. #PrayVD |
